Medis srl is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and to strictly adhere to the guidelines, norms, and regulations governing anti-corruption policy.

Medis srl promotes fundamental values of integrity, ethical behavior, professionalism, and reliability.

The Ethical Code establishes the basic ethical principles that every person working with or for Medis srl is required to observe.

Being part of Medis srl means committing to respect the code. Non-compliance with the code is considered improper behavior and may lead to disciplinary actions or sanctions under labor law (including dismissal) and other legal penalties.

Every person working with or for Medis srl is required to respect the code.
The code applies to all employees (full-time, part-time, and temporary), the administrator, any executives, consultants, sales agents, distributors, distributor employees, sub-distributors, and all those who perform services on behalf of the company; the code refers to any person in these categories as a “company representative”.

Medis srl implements a corporate culture that encourages people, internally and externally, to work for and support it over time.

Medis srl ensures equal treatment regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, age, marital status, disability, national origin, or any other characteristic prohibited by law.
It does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, mobbing, or intimidation of any form (physical, verbal, or non-verbal). This includes offensive comments, jokes, insults, as well as other visual, non-visual, graphic, electronic, or physical conduct that may create an offensive, hostile, or intimidating work environment. Sexual harassment can occur between persons of the same or opposite sex and includes unwanted sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other more or less evident sexual behavior.

Medis srl is committed to safeguarding the health and safety of its employees by eliminating hazards in the workplace and complying with all applicable health and safety laws. All employees are required to report unsafe working conditions, threats, and actions or situations (including those related to suppliers or customers) that may lead to workplace safety incidents.

The company also recognizes its corporate citizen obligation to conduct all its activities in a way that preserves and promotes a clean, safe, and healthy environment. It continuously seeks methods to ensure that business activities meet or exceed applicable environmental standards.

All employees must protect the company’s assets and ensure their efficient use. Theft, carelessness, and waste have a direct impact on the company’s profitability. All company assets must be used for legitimate business purposes. Company assets and equipment must be used only for business activities, although occasional personal use of assets may be permitted in some circumstances.

It is not allowed to install applications or software not expressly approved on company laptops or mobile devices.

Medis srl observes the principle of confidentiality. It is not permitted to accept, disclose, or use information obtained in violation of a confidentiality agreement.
Confidential information includes all non-public information that, if disclosed, could be used by competitors or harm the company or its clients. Confidential information also includes all non-public information learned about suppliers and clients of the company that is not in the public domain. The obligation to protect confidential information continues even after the termination of employment or agency relationship with the company. Any documents, forms, records, or other tangible assets containing trade secrets or proprietary information are the property of the company.

Every employee and the administrator must strive to treat customers, suppliers, competitors, and company employees fairly. No one should gain unfair advantage over any person through manipulation, concealment, abuse of privileged information, false representation of material facts, or any other intentional unfair practice.

Medis srl is committed to competing in full compliance with all applicable competition (antitrust/fair dealing) laws. All employees and consultants, particularly those involved in marketing, sales, and purchasing, or who are regularly in contact with competitors, must adhere to competition laws. Antitrust and competition laws regulate, among other things, relationships between competitors; distribution agreements; patent, copyright, and trademark concessions; territorial restrictions for retailers and licensees; customer rebates and discounts; pricing policies.

In general, operations must be conducted in accordance with the principles of fair competition and all applicable laws and industry codes.

No employee, officer, or administrator of Medis srl may offer, pay, authorize payments, or offer money or any item of value to customers, public officials, or third parties, with the aim of obtaining an undue economic advantage. For the purposes of this Policy, the term “undue” indicates an illegitimate purpose or a corrupt intent. The term “item of value” includes, but is not limited to:

Cash, Discounts, Rebates, Travel and Accommodations, Gifts, Forms of Sponsorship, Contractual Agreements, Loans, Tickets, Forms of entertainment, Employment promises, Use of material, equipment, software, or facilities, Grants, donations.

Relations with healthcare professionals (“healthcare operators”), including customers and consultants, are very important to Medis srl, therefore, it commits to respecting all laws and regulations governing their interactions.

Medis srl adopts only fair behaviors and bans behaviors that illicitly induce (or appear to illicitly induce) a person to purchase, rent, recommend, use, or organize the purchase, rental, or use of its products.

Financial transactions of Medis srl are recorded accurately to make the nature of the transaction evident. All accounting records are kept in accordance with applicable laws and accounting principles, norms, and financial regulations.

Every person working with or for Medis srl is required to respect the code and to report violations of laws, norms, regulations, or this code to the appropriate personnel.
The company does not allow retaliation for reports of misconduct made in good faith.
